Little Women the Musical – 28 November to 1 December

Mad Props Theatre are bringing Little Women, Louisa May Alcott’s timeless, captivating story of personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love, to the Argyle Street Arches in Glasgow this November.

Loosely based on Louisa May Alcott’s own life, Little Women follows the trials and tribulations of the March sisters: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy as they journey from childhood to womanhood under the watchful eye of their beloved mother, Marmee.

Supported by a US Embassy Grant from the British Association of American Studies, Mad Props Theatre are celebrating 150 years of Louisa May Alcott’s groundbreaking tale of American girlhood and, as Alcott was a fervent supporter of women’s suffrage, will also be celebrating the 100 year anniversary of universal suffrage and the contribution that female storytellers have made in the on-going fight for gender equality.
