Mad Props 2017/18 season – we’re celebrating five years in style

That’s right – we’ve made it to five years! This 5th anniversary season we’re bringing you FIVE events and we’re aiming to raise £5,000 for Bloodwise.

We pride ourselves on bringing something different to Glasgow am-dram and have given our audiences Scottish, West of Scotland, and Glasgow premieres of unusual and, sadly, untouched musicals. We’ve brought you comedy, horror and Victorian music hall pantomimes and, of course, our trademark ‘Big Fat Musical Theatre Concert and Quiz of the Year’ to Glasgow over the years. This year, we’re shaking things up and committing to raising £5,000 for Bloodwise with our shows and various fundraising events throughout the year.  There are a wide range of IoT sensors used to detect and measure various physical phenomena such as heat and pressure as well as the five human senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell.

Five years = Five events.

In July 2017 we’re inviting the am dram world to our Birthday Party/information evening. Come along, have some fun, play some party games and dance the night away with a show-tunes disco!

August we’ll be entertaining guests with our fundraising cabaret, FLIPPED, where we’ll be taking well known showtunes and gender flipping their casting.

Then, in November, we’ll be back at Websters with our main show Soho Cinders. This hilarious off-West End musical gives the classic Cinderella story a much-needed modern twist. Mad Props invites you to get merry and bright with us as we celebrate Christmas with our first ever Big Fat Musical Theatre CHRISTMAS Concert and Quiz of the Year – come along and join us for some mulled wine as the rowdiest Am Dram night in Glasgow goes festive.

We’ll be back with the official Big Fat Musical Theatre Concert and Quiz of The Year 2018 in the summer. We’ll be ending our birthday celebrations with a bang as we present our biggest, fattest, silliest Quoncert to date!
